1.1 Purpose
The purpose of the Revenue Flash Report is to provide a quick and accurate snapshot of Lenovo’s revenue performance by validating QTD Billing and Backlog values across multiple business segments. This report ensures that revenue figures in the Revenue Flash file are fully aligned with the source AP Data before distribution.

1.3 Business/Segment Overview
- The Revenue Flash Report covers key Lenovo business segments, including Consumer (CON), Tablet, Relationship, SMB (SB+CC), and India Region Summary. Each segment reflects revenue performance across different product lines and customer categories.
- The process involves validating segment-wise QTD Billing and Backlog revenue against AP Data using standardized pivot logic and calculated fields. Minor variances within an acceptable tolerance range are reviewed to ensure data reliability.

1.13 Steps of Procedure
- Open the “Revenue Flash Report” which we get from it.irainbow@wyzmindz.com mail Id on our Wyzmindz ID.
- We have to validate “TOTAL ACTUALS” of “Rev ($M) of QTD Billing ” & “Rev ($M) of Backlog” in all the sheets from today’s AP Data.
- First Go to “CON” sheet and Validate “CONSUMER TOTAL ACTUALS” of “Rev ($M) of QTD Billing ” & “Rev ($M) of Backlog” from “GRAND TOTAL” of AP Data.

- Open today “AP Data” report. We can take from creports sent item.
- Insert a new pivot table based on data sheet (Sheet1).

- Selection of pivot table should be :-
- Brand – (All)
- Data Type – (All)
- Calculated Field – ‘Total Price (Net$)’/1000000
- CONRELSMB – Only “CON”

- Go to “TABLET” sheet and Validate “TABLET TOTAL” of “Rev ($M) of QTD Billing ” & “Rev ($M) of Backlog” from “GRAND TOTAL” of AP Data.

- Select only “TAB” in “CONRELSMB” of AP Data pivot table.

- Go to “RELATIONSHIP” sheet and Validate “TOTAL ACTUAL” of “Rev ($M) of QTD Billing ” & “Rev ($M) of Backlog” from “GRAND TOTAL” of AP Data.

- Select only “REL” in “CONRELSMB” of AP Data pivot table.

- Go to “SMB(SB+CC)” sheet and Validate “SMB TOTAL ACTUAL” of “Rev ($M) of QTD Billing ” & “Rev ($M) of Backlog” from “GRAND TOTAL” of AP Data.

- Go to “India Region Summary” sheet and Validate “TOTAL ACTUALS” of “Rev ($M) of QTD Billing ” & “Rev ($M) of Backlog” from “GRAND TOTAL” of AP Data.

- Selection of pivot table should be :-
- Brand – Desktop, Notebook, Options, Tablet, Thinkstation & Visuals
- Data Type – (All)
- Calculated Field – ‘Total Price (Net$)’/1000000
- CONRELSMB – (All)

Note
We will get difference of 10 to 20 in values that will be fine.
- Go to generated report mail and Click on “Forward”.
- Change the “From” as creports mail.
- Copy the mail ID from last sent report and paste in today mail (In “Bcc”).
- Delete the unnecessary things from mail body and sent the mail.

1.14 Output Overview
- The Grand Total of the Revenue flash will match with the grand total of AP Data as mentioned above for all the Segments
1.15 Validation checklist
- Create a Pivot table in AP data
- Filter – Brand
- Columns _ Datatypes
- Rows – CONRELSMB
- Selection of pivot table should be: -
- Brand – (All)
- Data Type – (All)
- Calculated Field – ‘Total Price (Net$)’/1000000
- The Value from QTD Billing (Rev($M)) and backlog (Rev($M)) must match with backlog and ships from AP Data
- Apply filters for each segment in AP data and if the Grand totals are matching with the Respective Segments Present in Different sheets of revenue Flash
