1.1 Purpose

  • The Predictability Overall Final and Predictability Premium Final sheets present the final weekly performance view after the upload is completed from cpc_auto.xlsm.
  • These sheets are used for:
    • Weekly checkpoint calls
    • Leadership reviews
    • Region and India-level performance tracking

1.2 Scope

  • Geographic Scope: India.
  • Business Segment: Consumer Segment.
  • Process Frequency: Fortnightly basis.
  • Core Activity: Generate weekly Predictability reports by comparing Commit versus Actual performance for Sell Thru and Sell Out across regions and channels.

1.10 Legends

This section explains the meaning of colors, columns, and key terms used in the Predictability output sheets.

Colour Coding

  • Green cells
    • Performance is 100% or above. Target is met or exceeded.
  • Red cells
    • Performance is below 100%. Target is not met.
  • Yellow / Amber cells (if applicable)
    • Performance is close to target and requires monitoring.

Column Legends

  • W01 – W13
    • Weekly performance values for the quarter.
  • MET
    • Count of weeks where performance is ≥ 100%.
  • Commit
    • Planned or committed target values for the week.
  • Actual / Act
    • Actual achieved values for the week.
  • Sell Thru (ST)
    • Sales from distributor to retailer.
  • Sell Out (SO)
    • Sales from retailer to end consumer.

Row Legends

  • East 1 / East 2 / North 1 / North 2 / South 1 / South 2 / West 1
    • Sub-regions used for performance tracking.
  • Region Total
    • Sum of all sub-regions within a region.
  • India Total
    • Combined total of all regions.
  • LFR
    • Large Format Retail performance.
  • Online
    • Online channel performance.
  • SLBD
    • Special Line Business Data (as defined by CPC).
  • Overall
    • Final consolidated performance across all regions and channels.

Performance Interpretation

  • ≥ 100%
    • Target achieved.
  • < 100%
    • Target not achieved.
  • 0% or blank
    • No data available or no activity for the week.

1.13 Steps of Procedure

Sheet Used

  • Sheet name: cpc
  • This is the only sheet the user needs to work on.

Step-by-Step Instructions (Inside cpc_auto.xlsm)

Step 1: Open the File

  1. Open cpc_auto.xlsm
  2. Enable macros when Excel asks.
  3. Make sure you are on the cpc sheet.

Step 2: Enter Predictability File Path

  1. In Cell A2, paste the full path of the Predictability template file.

Example: F:\REPORTS\CPC-Check point call (Predictability)(Munna)\000 Q3 2025-26\W11\CPC Template - Q3'2526 Wk11.xlsx

This tells the system which Predictability file to update.

Step 3: Select the Week

  1. Look for the section “WEEK SELECT BELOW”
  2. In Cell G5, enter the required week.

Example: W11

✔ Use only week format like W01, W05, W11.

Step 4: Select Data Type (Commit or Actuals)

  1. Look for the section “SELECT COMMIT OR ACTUALS”
  2. In Cell G8, type one of the following:
    • commit → for Commit data
    • actuals → for Actuals data

Type exactly as shown (small letters).

Step 5: Start Upload

  1. Click the “Upload WF” button.

This button runs the entire process automatically.

What Happens After Clicking “Upload WF”

You do not need to do anything during these steps. 1. A file selection window opens. 2. Go to the week folder (example: W11). 3. Select all PAN India source files for that week. 4. Click Open.

The system then:

• Opens each selected file • Reads only approved sheets • Picks correct week data • Groups values correctly • Updates the Predictability file automatically

From the selected week folder, files like:

• PAN India Consumer Sell Thru WF Chart • PAN India Consumer Sell Out WF Chart • PAN India Consumer Premium ST WF Chart • PAN India Consumer Premium SO WF Chart No file needs to be opened manually.

After Process Completion

• Source files are closed automatically • Predictability template stays open • Data is updated under the selected week • A validation Excel file opens for checking totals

1.14 Output Overview:

After successful execution, the following outputs are generated:

  2. Predictability Premium Final sheet
  3. CPC Template Workbook (auto-generated)

Output Details

  • Data is shown week-wise (W01 to W13).
  • Performance is displayed as:
    • Commit values
    • Actual values
    • Percentage achievement
  • Region-wise, India-level, and Overall totals are included.
  • MET column shows the count of weeks where performance met or exceeded 100%.

These outputs are used for:

  • CPC checkpoint calls
  • Weekly performance reviews
  • Leadership reporting

No manual changes should be made to the output sheets.

1.15 Validation checklist:

After the upload is completed, the user must perform the following checks:

Input Validation

  • Correct week entered in CPC sheet
  • Correct data type selected (Commit or Actuals)
  • Correct Predictability file path used
  • Correct week source files selected

Data Validation

  • Selected week column is populated
  • Commit and Actual values are present
  • No unexpected blank or zero values
  • India Total matches sum of regions
  • Premium values appear only in Premium sheet

Output Validation

  • Green cells indicate ≥100% achievement
  • MET count matches number of green weeks
  • Overall values align with regional totals
  • Validation summary matches source files

Any mismatch must be corrected by re-running the process.
