1.1 Purpose

To provide clear visibility of sales across Region Wise SO-Details, State-wise SO Details, State-wise Coverage, and overall Summary. The processed data supports dashboards and trend reports for key brands and retail partners.

  • Geographic Scope: India.
  • Business Segment: Consumer Segment (covering carepack, Consumer DT, Consumer NB, Consumer SNP & Consumer visuals).
  • Process Frequency: Daily basis.
  • Core Activity: Daily Report of sales of sellout [RD/Top Brands]

The RD channel covers top performing retail stores selling consumer PCs. From App Data provides transactional visibility from these stores.

Step 1: Enable Developer Mode

Go to "File" menu click on "Options" then click on check box mentioned as below

Alt + F8 -> Run (Ensure FnLock is enabled)

1.13 Steps of Procedure

Required Inputs

  • App Data (latest month)
  • PVM file received from Lenovo
  • Monthly Targets from Lenovo (if provided)
  • Master Distribution Sell Out Trend Excel File

Step 1: Update Raw App Data in Trend File

  • Open the latest App Data.
  • Filter the column [Code Type Of Sale] to show only Consumer.
  • Copy the filtered data.
  • Open the file Master Distribution Sell Out Trend (excel file).
  • Go to the sheet previous_month'yy & Current_month'yy.
  • Paste the copied Consumer data below the previous month’s entries.
  • Refresh all pivots in the [Pivot] sheet.

Step 2: Update PVM Data

  • Open the [pvm] sheet.
  • From the PVM file received from Lenovo, update the data.
  • In the Status column, select and retain rows marked Active and Offer Issued.

Step 3: Update Monthly Targets

  • If Lenovo shares CA and Coverage targets for the month, update them in:
  • [CA Targets] sheet
  • [Cov Targets] sheet
  • If formulas are missing inside the table in Region Wise SO-Details, manually update the columns:
  • [CA TGT]
  • [Cov TGT]
  • [PM CA TGT]
  • [PM Cov TGT]

Step 4: Update Historical Data[Monthly once] :

  • Open the [Historicals] sheet.
  • Update or replace the previous year's same month App Data (only for the month that changes).

1.14 Output Overview

  • Processed dataset containing:
  • Store wise Consumer RD sellout
  • Mapped MTM and product classifications
  • Gaming / Non-Gaming segmentation
  • Valid region and zone mapping

This supports analytics, dashboards, and sellout trend monitoring.

1.16 Communication

  1. Select the following sheets:

    • Statewise SO Details
    • Statewise Coverage
    • Summary
  2. Right-click the selection and choose Move or Copy.
  3. Select Create a Copy and generate a publishable version of the report.
  4. Attach this file while sending the final report.
  5. Final processed files are shared with Lenovo reporting stakeholders.
  6. Standard Email: Subject: Distribution Sell Out Trend – To: Lenovo RD Reporting Team CC: Wyzmindz Operations / Project Manager.
