1.1 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to define the standard procedure for downloading, processing, and updating the MDM dump and RM Mapping file. This SOP ensures consistent segment mapping, sales representative mapping, and data standardization for reporting purposes. It also helps maintain accurate and updated customer segment and RM information for quarterly reporting and account management.

- Core Activity: A detailed summary all ReL accounts/ segment, Sales Manager, segment leader and ISR .

1.3 Business/Segment Overview
- The MDM dump contains customer account data used to classify accounts into different business segments based on SBU, internal segment, and IDC segment.
- Segmentation helps in identifying account ownership, sales responsibility, and business coverage across different teams.
- RM Mapping is used to map each account to the correct Segment Head, Segment Leader, ISR, and FTF Sales Manager for reporting and tracking purposes.
- This segmentation and mapping process is performed periodically to ensure new accounts are added and existing accounts are correctly aligned with the current business structure.

1.13 Steps of Procedure
- Download the AP Account Master Data-Operation dump from Codata by applying filters Business Group = IDG and Region = India.



- Perform segment mapping in the dump using SBU code lookup.
- Filter the Segment column and retain only the required segments (EA OL, EA ACQ, SA, GAB, GTC, ICO, Private Edu, Public, SLBD, GCC ACQ).

- Delimit the L3_DMU_CRMID column in the dump.
- Open the RM Mapping file, keep the required old mapping header/initial rows, and delete the remaining old data.
- Copy required fields from dump to RM Mapping:
- DMU ID (L3_DMU_CRMID)
- Customer Name (L2_party_name)
- Internal Segment (Segment)
- Map Segment Leader and Segment Leader Final using the Segment Leader Mapping file.

- Copy FTF Sales Manager and ISR Rep from dump to RM Mapping and rationalize the names.
- Standardize IDC Segment values (Education → EDU, Government → GOV, Small Business → SB, Medium Business → MB, Large Business → LB, Very Large Business → VLB).
- Update WW Segment based on Internal Segment (GAB & GTC → GAB, remaining segments → KAB).
- Copy the required format and update the current quarter in the RM Mapping file.
- Identify T1 partners (Ingram, Redington, Supertron) and mark them under the “Others” category where applicable.

- Check for new accounts and append them to the RM Mapping file.
- Review final columns (Internal Segment, Segment Head, Segment Leader, ISR Rep, FTF Sales Manager) and save the final file.

1.14 Validation checklist
- The number of lines from Previous RM mapping file will be different
- There will be no #NA in segment
- T1 partners will be tagged as “others”
- All FTF ISR will be tagged with respect to Segments.
- Only One segment leader for each segment respectively.
1.15 Communication
- Will be uploaded in Data Mart
