1.1 Purpose

The SMB Targets update process is intended to provide a clear, accurate, and consolidated view of weekly SMB targets across all regions for Lenovo India. This process ensures that targets received from regional waterfall reports are correctly summarized, standardized, and updated into a central SMB Targets template.

1.3 Business/Segment Overview

This process plays a key role in Lenovo’s SMB business operations by integrating region-wise target inputs from multiple waterfall reports into a centralized reporting framework. Managed by the MIS and reporting teams, the activity involves collecting weekly regional targets, validating and transforming the data, and publishing it to CDMS for downstream analytics and reporting. The updated SMB targets are used by business, sales, and management teams to monitor progress, evaluate regional performance, align sales strategies, and drive accountability.

• We pick targets from Consolidated Regional Waterfall reports (shared on every Tuesdays to HO team) and update in MM & SM Targets Template.

1.10 Process Description

• 1.10.1 Start
• 1.10.2 Open SMB Targets template

• 1.10.3 Open LEMB ST Waterfall (D:\Downloads).

• 1.10.4 Copy Week 7 Commits from LEMB ST Waterfall.

- 1.10.5 Copy the number above the actuals of that week(encircled in above pic). - 1.10.6 Paste in SMB Targets template Region-wise as below.

• 1.10.7 Update any cell apart from above table range with “1000”.
• 1.10.8 Copy the cell (with “1000”).

• 1.10.9 Select Target column where Targets have been updated and lock cell range (Alt+;) and paste special to the selected column select “Values” and “Multiply” in “Operation”.

• 1.10.10 It will reflect as “112” in it.

• 1.10.11 We must multiply targets with 1000 coz the targets we receive will be in k units.
• 1.10.12 Save it.
• 1.10.13 Go to CDMS and sign in.
• 1.10.14 Select “SMB Targets” Table.
• 1.10.15 Choose target file and click on upload.
• 1.10.16 Upload and sign out once done.
