1.1 Purpose

The SM Region-wise T3 Coverage report is designed to provide a consolidated and accurate view of T3 customer coverage across regions for Lenovo’s SMB business. The report tracks region-wise, state-wise, and business-group-wise T3 customer counts and coverage metrics based on daily sell-out data. Its primary purpose is to enable stakeholders to monitor partner billing coverage, analyze penetration of base machines and related categories, and support weekly and quarterly performance tracking.

1.3 Business/Segment Overview

This process supports Lenovo India’s SMB operations by transforming raw daily SM sell-out data into meaningful regional and business insights. Managed by the MIS and reporting teams, the activity involves data validation, standardization, aggregation, and visualization to reflect true T3 customer coverage across regions, business groups, and states. The output helps business teams assess market reach, identify gaps in partner coverage, track quarter-to-date and historical performance, and align regional strategies accordingly.

1.10 Process Description

  • 1.10.1 Open the “Daily SOSB Sell Out DSR” report which we get on Wyzmindz mail ID. Process Description
  • 1.10.2 Filter BPCATEGORY_NEW with LEP, NON-REBATE – BREADTH, S&P RD and SRD Uncheck SMO & Tablet from Bizgroup Select Week from week1 till previous week and paste it in new sheet.
  • 1.10.3 Got to Biz group field and replace as per below detail. THINK SNP, CAREPACK & SERVICES with ‘Others’. Filter T3 GSTIN with ‘- ‘, NO GSTIN and Blanks and update them with T3_CUSTOMER_NAME
  • 1.10.4 Make Pivot (Data model),
    • Row: Region & Biz group (Select only base machines) and rearrange as per below snapshot.
    • Value: Sum of CA (in column D divide sum of CA/1000).
    • Change to classic Pivot.
    • Select: Design – Subtotals – Show all subtotals at bottom of group.

  • 1.10.5 Open T3 Coverage report and go to Q4'2324 PRODUCT WISE sheet.
  • 1.10.6 Unhide Wk04 column.
  • 1.10.7 Copy the data in CA – QTD of T3 Coverage report as per below snapshot.

  • 1.10.8 Remove region from rows and update the same numbers in India Total.
  • 1.10.9 Add Region in row again and remove CA from values and add T3 GST in values; change summarized calculation to Distinct count.

  • 1.10.10 Update region wise and Biz wise numbers in W07 column. Process Description
  • 1.10.11 In Biz Group, select Others and Visuals also and update it in report. Process Description

  • 1.10.12 Similarly, update Visuals, Others and total in all regions and remove region from row and update it for India Total

  • 1.10.13 Remove biz group from row and add T2 Partner State in row.
  • 1.10.14 Go to Q4'2324 STATE WISE WORM CHART sheet in report and update the values as per below formula. =IFERROR (VLOOKUP (State, ‘Base’ T2_PARTNER _STATE: T3 Distinct Counts,2,0),0) Process Description
  • 1.10.15 And break the link.
  • 1.10.16 Remove T2 Partner State from Pivot and copy paste the region wise numbers in Overall T3 Customer Count dashboard in REGION WISE WORM CHART sheet of T3 Coverage report.
  • 1.10.17 Add Biz group in filter and filter with only base machines. Process Description
  • 1.10.18 Paste the numbers in PC T3 Customer Count sheet of REGION WISE WORM CHART and in Historical comparisons sheet also in respective QTR column. Process Description
  • 1.10.19 Open last 4 qtr final T3 Coverage reports and add respective week data in Historical comparisons sheet. Process Description
  • 1.10.20 Go to SMBOPS ID’s sent items, open recent shared T3 Coverage report.
  • 1.10.21 Paste the below charts (PC T3 Customer Count & PC T3 Customer Count comparison) in body of the mail and attach the T3 Coverage report and send to below recipient list. Process Description Process Description
